Randy Jordan passed away on October 30, 1998 of advanced liver cancer.
Randy began his musical career in Forces; a successful regional rock from Lamar, MO. After winning a local talent show, Randy was asked to join Donny and the Rock. He played with Donny and the Rock for several years after moving to Kansas City, MO. He had moved away and was living in the Ozarks when he was asked to play in a upcoming band, The Front. He recorded two albums with Michael; one as The Front and one as Bakers Pink. When the band split up, Randy continued to play with Michael for several years in a band called dK, with guitarist Dave Matos. Parting ways with Michael, Dave and Randy continued to play together and formed a new band with J.E. Paxton, called Paxton. He recorded one album in this band, titled Paxton, and was working on a second when he passed away.
Please continue to the second page of Randy's Tribute, which consists of letters Jennifer received from people who knew and loved him. If you knew Randy, and would like to contribute your own stories, please email me.
