March 15, 2005 - It's time for a long overdue update! There hasn't been any news to report lately, so I apologize for the lack of regular updates. If that changes, of course, any news will be posted right here! The last I heard from Michael, he was continuing to work on new material. He's also keeping busy with other projects, including some work for television. I will try to get a status update and post more information soon. June 6, 2004 - It's time for a long overdue update! Michael has been very busy working on several projects, and I'm very excited to let you know about one of them now. Michael has been working on putting a CD out that features material recorded from '90 - '93. There will be a combination of out-takes, unreleased songs, and live concert tracks! This CD will be made available for sale through Michael's website. I don't have a release date for you yet, but I will post more info as soon as I can. If you don't want to miss anything, please sign up on the mailing list or drop an email to mail@michaelfranano.com so we can keep you updated on this project! I'd also like to wish Michael a very happy birthday on June 13. If anyone would like to send birthday greetings, please send them to mail@michaelfranano.com and they will be forwarded to him.
August 3, 2003 - I've finished transferring over the lyrics & images from MichaelMoon.cc to this site. I also added a few new items to the "miscellaneous" section of the photo gallery.
July 24, 2003 - There are some changes in the air! I've gotten word that Michael Moon is "retiring" and Michael Anthony Franano is back! He's been working on new material that I'm told has that dark, sexy, and mysterious edge to it, so this should be interesting! Hopefully we will get a chance to hear some of his latest work soon! Something else to look forward to is the possibility of a new CD! Michael recently posted on the message board that he hopes "to have some new music available soon. Possibly some rare live tracks, and new demos, etc." I'll be sure to keep you posted as more information becomes available. Lastly, the MichaelMoon.cc site will be discontinued, so please check this site and/or the message board for future news and updates. Thanks!
March 11, 2003 - Welcome to the redesigned MichaelFranano.com website! This redesign was an attempt to better organize the information on the site, as well as improve download times. All of the information is still here; if you're having trouble finding something, please check the site map. Besides the new look, we've also added some new material to the site! You'll find several new press articles for The Front, and one new article for Bakers Pink. Some new photos have been added as well. An audio clip of an interview Michael did in 1990 for the radio program Metalshop is also available here. What's new with Michael? 2002 found Michael and guitarist Mike Greene in the recording studio working on new music. More information will be posted as it becomes available. |
